New Website for B&B, The Blacksmiths House

Recognition Design have worked with Brockenhurst-based B&B The Blacksmiths House to create a brand new website.

The design was inspired by the heritage of the building and it’s location right in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Technical aspects of the build include room and location image galleries, google location maps, search engine friendly coding and downloadable guides along with advanced functionality such as online booking integration.

A photoshoot of the external and internal features of the property was also undertaken. A total of 95 images were taken and these have been used across a wide range of promotional material.

The right exposure

Pixel8 Photos provide high quality, editorial photographic coverage of sports events. They came to Recognition for a redesign of their existing website which was created using an online photographers tool.

After creating a modern logo and style for Pixel8 Photos, Recognition created a clean, simple web design that helps showcase the photos. The approved design concept was then integrated into the Photoshelter.com system to keep the advanced functionality such as password protected galleries, advanced searchs, upcoming events and client areas along with all that’s needed to sell imagery online!

Putting Warsash Maritime Academy on the map

Recognition Design & Marketing have just completed a redesign of the Warsash Maritime Academy's location maps.

The maps, which will be used on the Academy's printed materials and website, needed a complete redesign and overhaul, so that the style was consistent, accurate and up to date.

Using Adobe Illustrator the vector maps were redrawn from a birds eye view perspective and were based on the old maps but with additional buildings and information as well as clear directional markers.

We've created an online store for this local, New Forest based, ladies boutique giving them a worldwide coverage for selling their unique shoes and fashion accessories from individually sourced design houses. As well as the store we have also created the new identity as shown to the left of this news story.

Local plumbing website launched:

We have just put the finishing touches to AquaPlumbingLtd.co.uk a local, New Forest based plumbing and heating service supplier. We have given their whole site a refresh and taken the opportunity to re-code things so that 'Aqua' gain better listing results from Google searches... try a google search for 'lymington plumber' and you'll see it's working already!

Recognition client getting hotter:

The Fireplace Room fires up with their own online showcase of quality fires to keep you warm. Recognition were commissioned to lead the way for their online presence by creating a content managed website sales tool.
